Program Summary
The Multi-Agency Night Life Task Force focuses on reducing crime on the three biggest weekend nightlife streets: H Street, U Street, and Connecticut Street. The Metropolitan Police Department, Department of Public Works, District Department of Transportation, and several other DC agencies work together to engage community members and bring together resources on Friday and Saturday nights, through the early morning, and on Sunday evenings when there is a Monday holiday.
How does it help?
The task force aims to increase safety in the three busiest nightlife corridors, focusing on reducing crime, addressing ATVs, enforcing traffic and parking regulations, and identifying gaps in staffing and resources. This presence helps people have fun and enjoy these areas safely.

Who uses this program?
The task force serves the U Street, H Street, and Connecticut Avenue corridors to improve safety for all the residents, customers, business owners, and community members in and traveling to those areas.
